Justin Drew Bieber (lahir 14 Maret 1994) adalah penyanyi asal Stratford, Ontario, Canada. Ia memulai karir profesionalnya lewat YouTube, saat Scooter Braun, yang sekarang menjadi managernya, menemukan bakatnya. Braun menerbangkan Bieber ke Atlanta, Georgia untuk berkonsultasi dengan Usher dan setelah itu menandatangani kontrak bersama perusahaan rekaman Island Records.

Biography

Usia Bieber menginjak 12 tahun saat ia mengikuti lomba menyanyi di Stratford, dan mendapat juara kedua. Ia belajar memainkan instrumen musik seperti piano, drum, gitar, dan terompet secara otodidak. Pada akhir 2007 Justin dan ibunya mulai memposting video ke YouTube sehingga keluarga dan teman-temannya dapat menyaksikan ia bernyanyi. Lagu yang ia nyanyikanpun merupakan lagu-lagu yang aslinya dinyanyikan oleh penyanyi kenamaan seperti Usher, Stevie Wonder, Ne-Yo, Justin Timberlake, dan Michael Jackson.

Scooter Braun, seorang marketing executive pada So So Def, menemukan videonya dan menerbangkan Bieber ke Atlanta, Georgia dimana ia bertemu dengan penyanyi R&B dan penulis lagu Usher. Seminggu kemudian Bieber mendapatkan kesempatan untuk bernyanyi di depan Usher, dan Usher menyukainya. Kemudian ia memberikan kesembatan Bieber mengikuti sebuah audisi di perusahaan rekaman Island Records yang kemudian ditandatanganinya pada Oktober 2008. Justin Timberlake dilaporkan juga mengincar Bieber untuk masuk ke dalam management artistnya, namun sayang Bieber sudah terkontrak dengan Usher.

Personal Life

Orang tua Biber bercerai, dan Bieber mempunya saudara tiri bernama Jazmyn. Bieber sekarang tinggal di Atlanta, Georgia, kampung halaman Usher, bersama ibunya untuk mencapai cita-citanya berkarir di dunia musik. Sahabatnya di Atlanta, Christian Beadles, juga sering mengirim video ke YouTube. Band Killing Me Inside (Killms) adalah band bergenre Modern Rock / Emo yang dibentuk pada awal tahun 2006 dengan personilnya, yaitu : Sansan sebagai vokalis, Raka dan Josaphat sebagai gitaris, Onadio sebagai bassis dan Rendy pada drum. Pada pertengahan '08, Raka (gitaris) Killing Me Inside terpaksa mengundurkan diri untuk bergabung dengan band lain (Vierra) karena beberapa alasan.

"Gue harus mengundurkan diri dari band ini (Killms) karena adanya bentrok antara 2 band yaitu Killing Me Inside dan Vierra. Kedua band ini akan menjalankan kontrak dimana suatu pihak tidak membolehkan playernya untuk mempunyai lebih dari 1 band. Saat ini gue berada di posisi yang bagi gue hasil akhirnya sama skali bukan apa yang gua inginkan, dimana gue diharuskan untuk memilih Vierra yang disebabkan oleh "suatu faktor keluarga" yang sama sekali gak bisa gue tolak," kata Raka seperti yang dituliskan di Blog Myspace Killms.

Kemudian pada tahun itu, memasuki 2009, setelah beberapa kali manggung dan melakukan tour, Sansan (Vokalis) dan Rendy (Drum) meninggalkan band dan juga karena beberapa alasan. Sansan sebagai vokalis keluar karena memang pilihannya dia sendiri untuk keluar (sekarang ada di Pee Wee Gaskins) dan Rendy sebagai Drummer mengundurkan diri karena sibuk untuk rencana jangka panjangnya demi masa depan.

Formasi terbaru Killms adalah sebagai berikut: Onadio sebagai vokalis, Josaphat pada gitar, Agung pada bass dan Davi untuk menggantikan Rendy pada drum. Band ini sudah mempunyai satu album yaitu "A Fresh Start For Something New" yang hitsnya lagunya yaitu "The Tormented".
